ShareAs the coordinator of the Media Arts Program at The Brotherhood/Sister Sol, I work with groups of young people to expose them to concepts, skills and careers in Media. Over the summer, I facilitated daily workshops that helped the Harlem youth participants to explore media criticism [looking at television, movies, music and videos], manual photography, PhotoShop, stop motion animation, video editing, and much more. I created the Summer Media Arts Documentary using footage taken by myself and the media students over the summer to highlight the ideas, skills and accomplishments of the group, as well as illustrate the work I do with youth.
